Positive effect about food advertisements

    Advertisement became an important means to improve popularity of the products since the first commercial appeared in 1997. We can also see the profits and positive effects after the advertisements about the products which were showed on TV, newspapers, broadcast, and other way such as picture on the remarkable place in cities.
        It is a fact that the food advertisements occupy a large percentage of the advertisements which were known by people. People will not stop paying for the food no matter what the price is because food consumption is the basic outlay of people. Nowadays, people all focus on the quality and value of food, so, the producer should pay attention to how to show more points which are better than the ordinary and similar food if they want to make more profits.
        I choose two food advertisements from different part of China. Both of them can reflect the culture and values on pictures when people see it. The first advertisement is some special local fruits products from Uighur Autonomous Region, such as, aromatous pine, Hami melon, grape, and raisin. Another is the lychee from Hainan province. The analysis is as follows.
         The first advertisement is about a natural fruit which comes from the tableland. The logo on the advertisement is the most famous cartoon character Afanti in China; he stands for the wisdom, optimism and humor about the people in Uighur Autonomous Region. So it is authentic for people to enjoy the natural fruit. Also the title on the top of the advertisement is obvious; they show the unique brand in order to explain that their products are also the particular in China. What’s more, the four circles by different colors display the natural fruit and the price can give people the feeling of credible. In a word, it is a valuable advertisement to show the special local products from Uighur Autonomous Region.

     Green is always regarded as a health and ecological color in China, the background color of the picture gives people a direct visual shock which can attract people’s attention on the advertisement. What’s more, the pulp of the lychee can show people what the fresh and pretty they are. Meanwhile, the beautiful lady on the right of the picture is the imperial concubine Yang of Shu in ancient times. The lychee is the most valuable fruit in north Shu in that time because people who lived in north cannot eat the fresh lychee with the basal vehicle. Even though people try planted the lychee in north, the dry weather broke their dream for eating lychee in north. In order to eat the lychee, Shu lost hundreds soldier and horses to transport the fresh lychee for Yang. That proves the love degree of the lychee by people. At last, the advertisement uses the Yang’s smile to attract people’s attention too.

        The reason why people like the fruits come from Uighur Autonomous Region is because the region has temperate continental monsoon climate, and it was surrounded by mountains. Also the region with abundant light in the daytime and the temperature is very low in the evening, so the fruits come from the region are all sweeter than any others in China. Otherwise, people come from other regions cannot plant the same fruits as sweeter and bigger as them in Uighur Autonomous Region, therefore, people like the valuable fruits which is from there. What’s more, there are several fruit’s festivals in this region; the purpose is to assess the quality and quantity in each year which can affect the market and export of the fruits. The fruits producers who win the game will get their own title and get more profits depend on their outstanding fruits. So, the fruits keep its own advantage so far, and the fruits from this region are always the most popular in China. Personally, the culture in this region makes a positive effect to their fruits.
        As I mentioned before, the lychee was the most valuable fruit in north China several years ago, even though people could spend a lot of money to buy it in north of China, the quality of lychee could not be retained well because of the transport which was not developed in that time. The reason why people cannot plant lychee in north is because lychee almost grow in tropic or semitropics places. In recent years, people studied out a new variety about lychee which can plant in north China even in some places with a little dry weather. Now, people in north China can eat fresh lychee depend on the new technology which change the value about lychee. When people eating lychee in north depend on the new technology, they always recall the story about Yang because the culture of lychee still affect the developing of fruit.
        At last, we can study not only the desire and rhetorical function but also the cultures and values from the advertisements.

  2. Well, it's interesting because you compare and contrast two advertisement in two regions in Chia. I love your Lychee advertisement. It make me laugh and I did be attracted. :)
